THE “BARK”

C-Level Executive, Denver

I'm an early bird who would rather leave her house at 5am and decide what I want to do with my time when I arrive early vs have Denver traffic control what I do with my time (aka... nothing while sitting in traffic). If I could leave by 5am and get to the mountain by 6:30a, I would take a nap, read, catch up on some work, warm up with a walk, get coffee or breakfast until 1st chair and be home midday to get Bruno! Bruno, on a few occasions, has hung out in the SUV while I skied for a few hours-- being a Bernese Mountain Dog the temps never bothered me as he would be just as fine laying in a pile of snow while he slept. Although he has a bit of separation anxiety and would probably prefer to drive up with me and hang out in the car for a few hours, I would prefer he spend the morning hanging out with other furry friends! Having a transport pick Bruno up after Daycare opens is a game-change and allows me to enjoy the ski season again!

I work for a startup and my schedule became so unpredictable with calls and meetings, so as a result my dogs were stuck at home since I couldn’t find time to get them to daycare. I looked all over for day cares that offered transportation as part of their services, but none close by existed. Then my friend started Valet Dogs to solve her own problems and those of our young professional friend group. We were part of the trial and use it daily now for day care pick up and drop off, groomer appointments and other times where I struggle to get home on time during the work week.
